A wonderful Family is seeking a professional Houseman/Handyman for their beautiful home in the town of Gulfstream. {Delray Beach}.  The Candidate must be experienced working in and around fine homes and be able to demonstrate skills and depth in all aspects of caring and maintaining a pristine property.  This position is hands on. The successful candidate is trustworthy, professional, has an eye for detail, and works well on their own or with other staff. The Candidate will do well if they have experience in exterior cleaning and upkeep, detailing and service maintenance for vehicles, basic handyman duties, and assisting with interior cleaning. Duties:

• Wash terraces, sweep entryways, exterior/interior window washing and outdoor furniture, care for paved and utility areas. Follow special cleaning techniques for specific surfaces
• Pressure washing
• Interior minor repairs and maintenance {Report on necessary repairs on exterior and grounds}
• Driving and errands
• Care/Service all vehicles
• Perform simple handyman repairs, requiring basic hand tools
• Assisting with interior cleaning such as bathrooms and floor care
• Organize all work areas and keep them meticulous
• Touch up painting
• Work with vendors

Requirements

The Candidate must be experienced working in a fine home and be able to demonstrate skills in all aspects of common household cleaning, laundry skills, and is willing to assist with light dinner prep such as washing vegetables. The Candidate must love animals, as the couple has a 2 beautiful cats and assistance with their care is required. The Clients prefer someone who speaks great English, has excellent communication skills, accepts direction, and works well independently. The ideal Candidate takes pride in her/his work, is dedicated, conscientious, and experienced. The Couple prefers someone who is professional and flexible. This is a wonderful position for someone who is looking for a long-term opportunity.

Duties

• Full-service housekeeping, including but not limited to:
• Vacuuming, dry/wet mopping, and floor care
• Windows, dishes, and beds
• Dusting all surfaces, furniture, blinds, window ledges, trim
• Hand-wiping wood furniture
• Disinfecting and cleaning bathrooms and vanities
• General laundry and ironing
• Organizing the home as required.
• Assisting with care of 2 cats/caring for them when the Principals travel
• Driving /running errands

A wonderful Family is seeking a professional Houseman/Handyman for their 8,000-sf property in Delray Beach.  The Candidate must be experienced working in and around fine homes and be able to demonstrate skill and depth in all aspects of caring and maintaining a pristine property.  This position is hands on. Even though some duties have oversee of contractors and vendors, this is not a Estate Manager or House Manager position. The successful candidate is professional, has an eye for detail, takes direction, and works well on their own or with other staff. The Candidate will do well if they have experience in exterior cleaning and washing, caulking, light electrical, carpentry and plumbing as well as HVAC filter changes, pool, oversee vendors and contractors, and be familiar with the Smart Home technology {Crestron}. Client prefers someone who is very professional, but also friendly, non-obtrusive, and highly trustworthy. Duties:

• Oversee vendor activity and supervise project work as directed by Principals
• Clean gutters and roof lines, wash terraces, sweep entryways, clean cobwebs from roofline and walls, exterior/interior window washing, care for paved and utility areas. Follow special cleaning techniques for specific surfaces
• Inspect and clean gates, fences, exterior lanterns, and light fixtures
• Interior minor repairs and maintenance {Report on necessary repairs on exterior and grounds}
• Outdoor maintenance windows, pressure washing perimeter wall often, exterior porches/terraces maintenance which includes furniture {schedule and supervise yearly pressure wash of building and walls}
• Become familiar with appliance manuals and perform recommended maintenance routines. (HVAC, filters, outdoor grills, icemakers, refrigerators, stoves, etc.)
• Pool maintained and cleaning
• Perform simple handyman repairs, requiring basic hand tools
• Scheduling Maintenance /Repair Vendors and file keeping of their work reports
• Organize all work areas and keep them meticulous
• Keep inventory of light bulbs, filters, irrigation parts, etc.
• Position could require after hours or weekend hurricane preparedness to secure property
